About Winslow Christian School
At Winslow Christian School, students receive so much more than an ordinary education. We pride ourselves on creating a unique, exciting environment that embraces all types of learners and promotes growth academically, personally and spiritually. We currently use the A.C.E. curriculum at Winslow Christian School. Schools and homeschools around the world use the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow® program in the training of their children. "The A.C.E. program consists of Bible-based K–12 curriculum, student programs, and professional training. Although other publishers have marketed academic curriculum, no one has produced a life-changing character package like that of A.C.E. Children’s minds develop best in a God-centered environment of absolutes and love. They emerge with a sweet attitude and with a greater, richer concept of God and how He wants them to live."
The reasons why the A.C.E. program works can be summarized in these
seven key foundational concepts:
-
Integration of Biblical Principles (Scripture memory, wisdom principles)
-
Godly Character Training (A.C.E. characters, 90 character traits of Christ)
-
Mastery-Based Learning
-
Built-In Reinforced System of Learning
-
Individualized Learning
-
Development of Critical Thinking Skills
-
Socialization

Mission:
Winslow Christian School exists to educate and enhance the lives of students in order to produce faithful, loving, serving, Christ-centered students who are empowered to engage their community.

Philosophy:
Winslow Christian School follows God’s Word as the source for all truth and we believe it is relevant to today’s issues. Biblical values are the foundation for all that happens at Winslow Christian School. We believe that these values combined with a quality education will train a child in the way they should go: shaping the mind, spirit, soul and body into the Christ-like person we hope that every student will become. We hope that the school also helps families adopt these values and that the school simply becomes an extension of what is being taught at home. The hope is that every student that walks through our doors will leave with:
-
a strong Biblical worldview
-
a sense of worth and purpose for their lives
-
a well-rounded education to assist our students not only academically, but also with difficult life decisions
-
an unconditional love and acceptance for all people
-
a willingness to serve and help the community for the betterment of all
The Five Core Values of Winslow Christian School:
Truth, Affirmation, Integrity, Selflessness and Purpose

"Isolating the student from large sections of human knowledge is not the basis of a Christian education. Rather it is giving him or her the framework for total truth, rooted in the Creator's existence and in the Bible's teaching, so that in each step of the formal learning process the student will understand what is true and what is false and why it is true or false."
